The thing about the quilt show this year is that they’re adding “modern” and “primitive” quilts to their contest. They will have over 400 quilts on display and you will be able to see a variety of techniques from hand-pieced quilts to art quilts. They also have some special exhibits and quilts for sale.
The Quilt Show is also offering several classes! You can register on their website at: http://www.sandiegoquiltshow.com/classes/
In addition, some vendors are offering “Make It and Take It” projects. I, personally, like visiting the vendor booths. It’s like shopping at all your favorite specialty fabric and craft stores all in one place!

I’ve had a love for quilting ever since my first lesson in 2007. Many thanks to Pam Kay and Pat Spurgeon from the San Diego Quilt Show for this opportunity to craft with you. And thank you Ingrid, for allow us to use your store to do some great projects!
Disclosure: I was given a free class, promotional items and tickets to attend the San Diego Quilt Show. All opinions are my own. But, as you know, I love sewing and quilting so I’m more than happy to promote the show and share my experience with you. I hope you’ll find a love for quilting, too!
